Allows the spouse/partner and dependent children of a non-EU national legally resident in Belgium to join them, subject to income, housing and (from 2026) tightened conditions.
Requirements
- Sponsor holds a qualifying residence permit (work, Blue Card, student, etc.)
- Net monthly income of at least 110% of the guaranteed minimum wage (approx. EUR 1,960), plus 10% per additional dependent
- Spouse/partner both at least 21 years old for spousal reunification
- Suitable accommodation and health insurance covering the family
