Requirements

  • Formal employment or service contract with a Brazilian entity
  • Employer obtains prior residence authorization from the Ministry of Justice
  • Qualifications compatible with the role (degree or proven experience)
  • Clean criminal record (home country and countries of residence in the last 5 years)
  • Register with the Federal Police within 90 days of arrival for the CRNM card

  • Employment tied to the sponsoring Brazilian entity; changing employers requires a new authorization

Tips

  • The employer drives the process; you cannot self-petition
