Requirements

• Job offer from a Danish employer with annual pay of at least DKK 552,000 (2026 regular scheme)
• Supplementary scheme: at least DKK 446,000 (2026) if the job was publicly advertised and national unemployment is below the set level
• Salary paid to a Danish bank account, with liquid pay components counting toward the threshold
• Employment terms corresponding to Danish standards
• Valid passport with at least 3 months beyond the permit period

Up to 4 years, extendable while employment continues

Cost

From DKK 6,810

• DKK 6,810 application fee (2026)

Path to residency

Permanent residence possible after 8 years (or 4 years with supplementary integration criteria)

Documents

• Valid passport

  Copy of all pages, valid 3+ months beyond the permit

• Employment contract

  Signed, no more than 30 days old, stating salary and terms

• Documentation of educational background (if it applies)

  Diploma or CV supporting the role where relevant

• Power of attorney (if it applies)

  If the employer or a representative submits on your behalf

• Fee receipt and case order ID

  Proof of the SIRI application fee payment
