Requirements

• Prove monthly net income of roughly USD 4,300+ over the past 6 months, OR
• Prove average savings/investment balance of roughly USD 73,000+ over the past 12 months, OR
• Own Mexican real estate above a consulate-set value
• Apply in person at a Mexican consulate outside Mexico
• Exchange the visa for a resident card at INM within 30 days of arrival

Restrictions

• No local employment without adding separate INM work permission
