Requirements

  • Basic monthly salary of RM 10,000-19,999 (band revised effective 1 June 2026)
  • Employment contract up to 5 years
  • Degree or professional qualifications relevant to the position
  • Employer registered with ESD and holding approved expatriate quota

Restrictions

  • Work only for the sponsoring employer

Tips

  • From 1 June 2026, Category II holders can sponsor dependents
  • The old band (RM 5,000-9,999) applies only to applications filed before June 2026
