Requirements

• Sponsor resides legally in Norway (citizen, permanent resident or holder of a qualifying permit)
• Documented relationship: spouse/registered partner, cohabitant of 2+ years, or child under 18
• Sponsor income of roughly NOK 400,000 per year, rising to about NOK 437,000 for some family categories; amounts track the National Insurance basic amount
• Sponsor’s previous year’s income meeting the same level, shown by the tax assessment
• Adequate housing for the family
