Residence permit for qualified workers seeking skilled employment for up to one year. It is generally limited to recent graduates of Norwegian institutions, researchers and some newly qualified professionals.
Requirements
- Skilled worker qualifications (degree or completed vocational training)
- Belong to an eligible group, e.g. recently completed a degree or research in Norway
- Own funds of at least NOK 28,448 per month of intended stay (NOK 341,373 for a full year)
- Somewhere to live in Norway
Restrictions
- Self-employment is not permitted
- Time as a job seeker does not count toward permanent residence
