Property worth about USD 200,000 can qualify for a renewable residence permit. Property worth at least USD 1 million can qualify for permanent residency, carrying Permanent Residency Card privileges such as healthcare and education access, without employer sponsorship.
Requirements
- Property purchase of approx. QAR 730,000 (USD 200,000+) in a designated freehold zone, or
- Investment of approx. USD 1 million for long-term/permanent-track residency
- Alternatively, establishing a business with foreign-investor approval (100% foreign ownership is possible in most sectors)
- Clean criminal record and proof of funds
