Non-Immigrant B Visa + Work Permit

Requirements

• Job offer/employment contract with a Thai-registered company
• Employer meets ratios: generally THB 2 million registered capital and 4 Thai employees per foreign work permit
• Employer provides sponsorship documents (company affidavit, tax filings)
• Apply for the Non-B at a Thai embassy/e-visa, then the work permit in Thailand before starting work
• Extension of stay at Thai Immigration to convert 90-day entry into a 1-year stay

Restrictions

• Work permit is tied to the specific employer, role and location; changing jobs requires a new permit
• Certain occupations are reserved for Thai nationals under the Foreign Employment Act
