What Changed
On September 19, 2025, President Trump signed a proclamation requiring a $100,000 payment to accompany any new H-1B visa petitions submitted after September 21, 2025. This includes the 2026 lottery and all future H-1B petitions.
For many companies, this new fee has become a barrier to hiring international talent. For us, it’s a commitment we’re willing to make.
